On Saturday, June 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Village Chapel Presbyterian Church in Charleston, Ken McFayden will lead the next 2018 Expanding Your Ministry Toolbox course around how to lead pastorally (whether you’re the pastor or not) in the midst of change, as congregations seek to build on the best of the past and move into the future.

Ken McFayden serves as Academic Dean of the Richmond Campus and Professor of Ministry and Leadership Development and teaches courses in congregational leadership and administration at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, VA.

We live in a world that changes quickly, perhaps much more quickly than ever before.  Yet, we also know that the old joke “How many Presbyterians does it take to change a lightbulb?” is, more often than not, “Change, what do you mean change?!,” which is truer than we might want to admit. This workshop is designed for pastors, Commissioned Ruling Elders, Authorized Lay Preachers, Christian Educators, and others who would like to reflect how to lead in the midst of change, as we seek to be faithful to the call, ministry and mission of God.
