The West Virginia Council of Churches will hold its second Substance Use Disorder Conference on May 31  at West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon. Dr. Michael Brumage is the keynote speaker, Plenaries are Stages of Recovery and Kinship Care: Grandparents and Children in Crisis. There will also be workshops  on strategies for stigma reduction, organizing your community, working with families, and more, as well as Naloxone training (which is limited to 25 people per session).
 
The conference runs 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cost is $15, which includes lunch. Click here to register; deadline is Friday, May 11.
